This verse, it shows us Rahab, a harlot, livin a life that alot of people wouldn’t be to proud of, but God chose her for somethin big.

So, supposedly, Rahab, the woman who hid those spies, she became part of Jesus’ family, and her marriage to Salmon, it’s a pretty important part of the story, or so I’ve heard.

Me, I’m thinkin, who’s this Salmon fella, I come acrost him in the story of Rahab, and I gotta say, I’m intrigued by his whole story, like what made him tick.
Salmon, he’s pretty big deal in the Old Testament, I mean his marriage to Rahab, it’s like, super romantic, and it just goes to show, you know, God’s all about redemption and stuff.
My mind starts wandering, thinkin bout how Rahab, she used to be a prostitute, but then she meets Salmon, and it’s like, love conquers all, you feel me, our past, it don’t define us, not really.
The genealogy of Salmon in the Bible
So I’m lookin at the genealogy of Salmon, and it’s like, pretty complex, but the Bible breaks it down for us in verses like
“And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;” (Ruth 4:20-21, KJV),
and
“And Maaciah begat Abishalom, and Abishalom begat Absolom, Jalaciel or Jahiel or The father of Zeleb” is not found, however “and Jahath and Zohar his friend Zeruiah of Abigail and Zeruiah was a sister of David and these five Zeruiah Bare to him whose son was Ner and Kish and the Father of shaul in 1 Chronicles 2:11” “Of Carmi Salma father Salmah”.
Then I stumble upon Matthew 1:5, KJV, which says

This stuff, it’s like, whoa, Salmon’s family, they played a huge role in Israel’s history, and it’s pretty cool, how it all connects, and it just goes to show, God’s faithfulness, it’s like, woah.
